Today Lee, Walker, Leroy and I went for a little walk to the dog park. A lady slowed down, rolled down her car window and said:

"Wow! You walkin' 2 dogs and a baby. You got it goin' on girl!"

Then drove off laughing! I don't know why but it kind of reminded me of the girl in high school that said:

"Aren't you da girl from da announcements? Don't your voice get on your own nerves?"

Maybe it was that girl 9 years later, much nicer : )

Anyways, loving the smell of Fall on the way! Aren't you!?

My first (but not last!) attempt at making clothes

Not real sure what happened but I know it wasn't good! Unfortunately, this is the finished product. Yikes!

Need a Little Bran in Your Life?!

Bran Muffins ~ These muffins are Yummy! This recipe makes a lot but the batter lasts for six weeks in the fridge.

Ingredients:

6 cups All Bran Cereal

2 cups boiling water

1 cup oil

1 pound light brown sugar

4 eggs beaten

1 quart buttermilk

5 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

2 tsp. salt

3+ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Pour water over 2 cups of the All Bran cereal and let stand. Add oil, the rest of bran, brown supgar, eggs and buttermilk. Mix well. Add everything else and mix again. Bake at 4oo degrees for 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Do you know how much Whit loves football? A LOT! I'm sure Lee will too...he already loves when ESPN is on. Oh goodness, I am in for it! Tonight kicked off the Marietta Blue Devils season and it was Lee's first football game. Happy is the announcer and Whit is his spotter so that is them up in the press box before the game started. And then there is Whit and Lee with their buddies Mitch and James. Football season begins!
