Christmas was so fun with Lee! This is what Santa Claus brought him and he thinks it is so fun. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. How thankful I am that Jesus came into this world, walked among men and then died so that we may live.

Whit turned the big 31 yesterday and we went to celebrate with some friends at Nuevo Laredo. In a couple of weeks we're going to go for a night on the town just the two of us. I'm really excited about that!

This past weekend I went on an 8th annual girls weekend with these fun girls. They are some of my closest friends from high school and are just so special to me. We had a blast and I love them!

And another,

I was just baking cookies and when I went to put on some music I couldn't resist breaking a personal rule -- No Christmas Music Until After Thanksgiving! On the list of playlists I saw "Christmas" and just hit the button. That did it! It made me feel so good. I can't wait to celebrate Christmas and the season with this little guy!

We have a new little nephew!

His name is Thomson! Natalie and Gus had their baby on Tuesday night after a long day of labor. Whit, Lee and I got to see him for a minute but I can't wait to get back up there and "snorgle" him as Natalie says : ) Yay for Thomson!
