Happy {and not so happy} Two Month Birthday!

Lee is two months old today.  These two months have gone by so fast and it has been wonderful.  It is so fun to watch him grow and learn new things.  I love his smile and the little sounds he makes.  He is such a blessing to Whit and me!

I really like the word delight.  

To be delighted in.  

I am delighting in Lee.  

I am so thankful that the Lord delights in me.

6 Weeks Old!

Lee is 6 weeks old today!  

I took these pictures on his 1 month birthday but since I wasn't an official "blogger" then, I will put them up today.  

He is a sweet, sweet baby!

Gardening Bug

With this spring-like weather I have been bit by the gardening bug.  I am ready!  I planted my garden almost 3 years ago.  The first year there was Walker, the second year Leroy came along and now this year I will have to take a picture with Leroy, Walker and Lee.  That makes me very happy.

My garden looks nothing like this now but that is one of the reasons I love it.  Each winter I look at it and think there is no way it will come back out and, lo and behold, every year it does.  

Spring will be here soon!

My Newest Happy Thing

Lee has been here for about five weeks now and is a true joy.  He is the sweetest baby and has been so fun to get to know.  I swear I could just stare at him all day {and some days I do!}.  I hope that he will always know how much I love him and, more importantly, how much the Lord loves him.  I love this verse ~

"For this boy I prayed, and the Lord has given me my petition which I asked of  him.  So I have also dedicated him to the Lord.  As long as he lives he is dedicated to the Lord.
